I know what it’s like to not be doing what you want to be doing. You think, what’s wrong with me? Why can’t I get it together?

I’ve asked myself that way too many times to count- As I’m finishing the fourth slice of pizza in a parking lot. As I’ve found myself in the Krispy Kreme drive through yet again. As I’m reaching into the garbage for the Oreos I threw out so I wouldn’t eat.

You’ve collected classes, books, and diet plans because they make you feel like you are addressing the problem. You buy the class, buy the ingredients, and skim the book, but when it comes to following through, you don’t. Just when you get started, you taper off. You know this about yourself, but you can’t seem to get unstuck.

I went from numbing out on Krispy Kreme donuts and XL pizzas to a balanced relationship with food. Sometimes it’s pizza and sometimes it’s kale, but whatever it is, it’s something I choose because it’s good for my body, my soul, or both.
